The Chase, Cheltenham
One of Q hotels new acquisitions just outside the Regency spa town of Cheltenham.
Once again the expertise of RCA was called on to create a contemporary reworking of the North American Country Lodge.
Timber spars and rustic stone walling featured around Bar and Food servery areas. An ultra modern gas flame feature fire place, set within a rustic stone hearth.
The Spa leisure, treatment areas and pool hall also underwent a complete transformation from the “local leisure club” to a luxury resort.
The project was fast tracked to ensure that new facilities would be out of the starting gate in plenty of time for the Gold Cup Week a major revenue event for this area.
